Heads up if you haven't listened, he released two new EPs. A Patty Griffin covers EP and Dillinger Four covers EP. Both are really fantastic.

I like his solo stuff but it also makes me miss The Loved Ones a great deal.

if the single art for this song is any indication, I think we're getting a new album called Blood Harmony

New album is great, anyone else heard it yet? This guy is so consistent, 5 albums, all bangers.

  10. I've been playing it a ton. I think I like it as much as Kick.

DH is very consistent. I think the only song I don't like on his 5 solo albums is Civil Lies, which also happens to be a song sung and I believe also written by his brother (in other words, not a DH song really at all)

Dropping in again to say how great this new album is. My favorite song on here is Snowglobe and Carry The Lantern is incredible too. But really the whole thing.

I could never get into Dave as much as some of his peers. I’ve never really been able to figure out why I don’t connect as much. I do enjoy some songs and I’ll try and use this as a reminder to check out his new record during the holidays.

have you ever listened to The Loved Ones albums? I dig his solo stuff, but those albums are his best work

Hause B-Sides are incredible, I have heard 2 of those 3 he just added. Without You being a "leftover" song is insane.

This guy is the most consistently great songwriter south of Brian Fallon, and only barely south

Somehow, when the deluxe version of Blood Harmony came out I only ended up hearing 2 out of the 3 bonus tracks. I just listened to "Without You" now and holy shit. Honestly, all 13 tracks are fucking fantastic. I don't know how/why I did that.

  23. Hope people love this as much as I do. I think it’d be right up @Craig Manning and others that like Ruston/Gaslight Anthem

Very exciting to hear this. I haven't had a chance to listen yet, but I'm gonna play the whole album on my drive home from work. Dave House hasn't let me down yet.

Yep, it has clicked instantly for me. I especially like the unexpected sparseness and build of the first song or two.
