I almost convinced my mom to take me to see Saw 4 when I was in middle school and instead week saw Dan in Real Life. I hated the movie, but she loved it, and looking back, I'm glad this was the outcome lol.

Saw the trailer for this earlier this week and it absolutely belongs here lol

 

I remember Cyrus having a few funny parts.

 

This completely fits here because of what it is, but I feel like this current era of movies being streaming service exclusives is really really going to ramp up the number of movies that come and go without anyone knowing.


Side note: the actual news story this movie is based on is AMAZING, but I will not be watching this version

I’ve at the very least had Dan in Real Life on in the background once and all I really rememebr about it is that Dane Cook is in it haha

 

Cyrus and Jeff who lives at home are both good

 

Was looking through old ticket stubs and found one for this from 2006. No one can convince me this is a real movie that I saw in theaters.

 

I watched it the other night. The performances made it enjoyable enough. I would like to read more about/watch the actual news story because the movie didn't really explain the details much.
