I often wonder how much of our ability for change, or progress, is due to learned helplessness. If it's built in that Trump can literally do anything and get away with it, the outcome is preordained.

 

I know that it's foolish to think anything will go differently than the 10,000 times it's seemed he was cooked before, but I can't help but feeling the tiniest bit optimistic that today feels a bit different than anything we've seen in a long time.
