Oh my god

 

a few musings from last night's forbidden door:

i bit the bullet and saw this show at a nearby movie theater. it might be my new go-to for watchin aew ppv's: surround sound, huge ass screen, reclinable heated seats. room was half full with fans just as awkward as i am, except for a few guys beside me that were havin the time of their lives. so much so, that it was infectious: we all got loud and reacted to spots and cheered after matches as if we were home with friends.

half the theater tho, took a 'break' during the women's match. felt bad, cause i was lookin forward to this match too, but 5 hrs of wrestling (with preshow) and something had to give. these women really deserved the first 20 minutes or the last 20 of a dynamite for this match rather than put on this particular ppv.

a bit of ring rust for claudio. for someone that's known for cardio, he looked gassed towards the end of that match. regardless, one of the best matches of the night, along with the iwgp us and the winner take all tag match. maaaaannn... when dax left the match, everyone lost their collective shit. but pulled us back in when he returned.

this flowed alot better than DoN. partly because i wasn't on a shitty online feed. partly because the main card had less matches, and the comfort a theater provides did play a part too.

noticed the banners in the arena that all out is labor day sunday, but it would do aew alot of good to go back to the united center for that. as a traveler, the UC is a more convenient arena to travel to than the arena where all in/all out has previously been. i will say if there's one knit to pick, regardless of the flow last night was, is to start the ppv at least an hour earlier.

Just caught up at work instead of actually working. Great show, exactly as fun as I thought it would be. The ending was meh but I know why they did it. There are 40 other dudes that can replace Mox, I just hope he's okay.

Lemme tell ya though, the Claudio/ZSJ match bored the fuck out of me, just like every other ZSJ match I've given a shot bored me. So cool to see Claudio back.

 

Imma miss this man.

 

Okay,I'll be honest, I've just hopped on the aew train recently (have 2 young kids and no active cable sub), so I've only gotten to see clips and what not sparingly... anyway, is there somewhere to watch a replay of last night? It sounds incredible

 

Just google 'watchwrestling' and a bunch of sites will pop up that have repeats of the show in like 4 parts, great to watch it that way.
