Yeah, that's a fair assessment. The thing is, most have come to accept Richarlison leaving but Gordon is a HG jewel that provided us with joy in a desperate last season. Gordon leaving would be like losing a son, similar to Rooney. Rooney was obviously more talented but we were in a similar situation financially back then and had to entertain the offer from Manchester United. I'm drawing parallels here.
