agreed. I love the ST album and wish they went more in that direction as well

 

MTV mind-fucked the shit out of y’all. The band even has done multiple interviews saying how much that album wasn’t them, it was a designed sound…

 

Might just be me, but designed sound or not, that album slaps

 

yeah the design was great.

 

I got into the band in 2009 so I wasn't there to witness the MTV thing. I went into S/T with zero preconceptions and loved it right away ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I will say that self titled has 2-3 of my fave cartel tracks but the album has a lot of throw always too

I still have a lot of love and nostalgia for Chroma, though. Forgot how much I love their discography. Even The Ransom and In Stereo EP’s are stellar.

I was going to post my album rankings but this is it. I do need to revisit Cycles though, I haven’t listened to that in forever. Spotify constantly plays ‘Faster Ride’ on shuffle for me though.

What the hell upside down shit did I walk into, Chroma is obviously their best and self titled is so bad

 

Sure looks like we are getting some sort of announcement soon…their social media has really picked up in the last couple of days

 

A few days late, but laughing a lot at the implication that the MTV show did a single positive thing for literally anyone’s perception of the self titled record

 

On their Facebook page they announced they will reveal the artwork for their new single (!) this week

 

Hashtag Andrew and Dashboard eh

 

They're going on tour with those acts, so yeah!

Yeah it’s because the West Coast gets Juliana Theory for that tour.
