Reading a few different draft recaps and it appears that some writers still aren't aware of what the Hornets actually got in return in that 3-way trade lol just more proof that the NBA has the dumbest rules when it comes to draft day trades.

 

I still don't think Bridges is worth the max, but I am pretty certain the team is now at a point where they'd rather pay him than to see him go elsewhere. Miles has also spoken about how happy he is in Charlotte and that he prefers to stay. So we'll see what happens.

I say this as a 34-year old trying to remember how when I was 17/18/19 I felt invincible and never even thought about injuries or getting hurt but is Victor going to play for the next 12-months? I wonder if people / his “team” is telling him not to risk getting hurt knowing he’s already the #1 pick? Although I assume even if he did get hurt he would probably still go #1 overall.
