Suburbia is still my favourite but I can agree the absolute sweet spot for their sound arrived on TGG. And judging by the sound of this new one so far, I think they've realised that too.

This is also me. I can rank them fairly easily, but very much so with the caveat that I adore them all and they are all uniquely special to me and a very specific time period in my life.

"Cigarettes & Saints" is still my favorite Wonder Years song, though. I just feel like it towers over the rest of that record so substantially that it being there actually kind of hurts the album, because I always wish I liked every other song on there half as much.

Cardinals/Cigarettes and Saints are the two real wins on that album. Though I appreciate the risks they took on the album. So many of the songs sound good acoustic which is nice too

Not enough love for The Bluest Things On Earth in my opinion. I know they don’t play it live often but I was lucky enough to see it on the Burst & Decay 2 tour in feb 2020

Yeah, “Cardinals” is the other one I like a lot. I feel like those two songs set up an epic feel that the album doesn’t really pay off.

    My personal favorite is Suburbia

One that has my favorite song is No Closer To Heaven

One I've listened to the most is probably The Greatest Generation

One I have the best memories of/with is The Upsides

The one that got me into the band is Get Stoked On It!

The one I think is the band's best is Sister Cities

Also I haven't read the P4k piece yet but that's awesome. A decade ago when I got right into Pitchfork, the idea of them taking music from our scene seriously seemed like it would never happen. A positive turnaround regardless of anyone's thoughts on that site.

*I don't think it's a *bad* album per se but I never really get the urge to re-listen to it

Upsides is boosted right now because I was re-listening to it over and over before Slam Dunk

I think the TGG is their best but I think due to nostalgia and what not Suburbia is my favorite.

My biggest issue with NCTH and SC are the mixes, and if the songs they've released are any indication of the rest of the record, that's not going to be a problem because they sound GREAT.

yeah this one right up there for me.

    Cardinals
    I Don't Like Who I Was Then
    Cigarettes & Saints
    Bluest Things on Earth
I Wanted So Badly To Be Brave

For me those are five great TWY songs. And imo there are things to like about all the other tracks too.

I like No Closer To Heaven more than most it appears. I really enjoy a lot of those songs, but Cigarettes & Saints and I Wanted So Badly to be Brave are both top five TWY songs for me.
