Another great song - this has potential to be one of my favorite Anthony Green releases out of anything he's done.

Not hard when the bar is set so low with the cringe of Translating the Name and that side project atrocity circa surviving or whatever it's called.

My Mom calls them Circus Circus from time to time.

 

Circus Survive by Cirque du Soleil in Vegas would be a great attraction.

Does Skrillex still make music? I love hearing little tidbits like this, it makes you wonder how many all-mosts stories there are like this in the industry.

 

I hope all is well on the Green front, this tweet is a bit concerning. It makes me wonder if it's more financially prudent for him to do this solo stuff vs Circa?

 

I don't find that concerning, of course his music performing well on streaming helps his family's future. And yeah, solo music he certainly gets a bigger piece of the pie

 

Eh maybe its nothing, I'd imagine that the streaming numbers for Circa have to be considerably higher than his solo work. This makes me think his compensation structure is different to be highlighting it in a tweet like this. Or he's just in a season of gratefulness and vulnerability with releasing this new material.

 

His compensation is probably higher with his solo material than it is with Circa considering it’s not being split between five members, not to mention everyone else that works on Circa albums one way or another. Of course, Keith and Tim from Good Old War are a big part of Anthony’s solo stuff, but I’d bet it’s still higher with his solo stuff.

The last Creature Club post was pretty much a "we might break up" kind of post, certainly they're on a hiatus anyway. So it's not too surprising. They split everything evenly in Circa too, but obviously as they have 0 tours planned, its not like there will be much "new" money to give him a bump to be financially secure. Circa streams and Patreon etc will be steady but yeah, split many ways, and with lots of other deductions, its not surprising he'll be wanting more of an income stream.
