Six episodes in and there have been no Marie sightings and Tuco has disappeared. A notable improvement.

JMM stands for Justice Matters Most, right? What if it's actually Just Marie, man?

Looking forward to the controversial BCS finale where Gene rejects the still-alive Kim to drive off into the sunset with Marie.

This is a really cool article. Learned some fun/interesting facts:

1.) Rhea, Patrick Fabian, and Bob Odenkirk all lived together in a house during production because Bob missed his family and was lonely. So they became roommates, would cook for each other, and analyze and rehearse scenes all night.

2.) Because of this, they all became extremely close, which is ultimately what saved Bob’s life. They’d finished a scene and, rather than go to his trailer alone, Bob decided to go hang out with Patrick and Rhea while they were playing a game together. That’s when he collapsed, Patrick and Rhea caught him before he hit the concrete, and then began screaming for help while they were holding him.

3.) Bob now feels deeply connected to them and wants to write Rhea into his next project.

4.) Rhea’s involvement with the show changed the direction the creators decided to go in, choosing to hold off on Jimmy becoming Saul so quickly. She wasn’t even intended to be a main cast member.

5.) Rhea loves Severance. Now I want her to join the cast of Severance.

I finished the first season. Chuck's heel turn had to come sooner or later, but I am interested to see how it recontextualizes Hamlin into a more sympathetic figure. Kim is the most interesting character so far because they aren't subjugating her to a romantic role or having her go partner with Goodman.

Stuff like Mike karate chopping Trevor and making the big man run away is eye rolling, but Breaking Bad did it way more often.

Speaking on #4, it's crazy how on both BB and BCS, we ended up with incredible characters that weren't even meant to be main cast members. The only thing that saved Jesse from dying in the first season of BB was after they filmed the second episode of the show and the creatives saw how great his chemistry was with Walt. He even got his own movie to wrap up his story LOL. Could not imagine where Breaking Bad would've went if not for Jesse. Same with this show. They may not have known it at the time, but Kim was just as crucial to Jimmy/Saul's journey as Jesse was to Walt's.

I was listening to the podcast for this episode earlier, and it's pretty genius hearing how they repurposed the set from Nacho's train car scene earlier in the season for the sewer scenes. The podcast series overall has a ton of neat anecdotes like that, and from how the cast/crew talk about other shows they've worked on, everyone agrees BB/BCS has the best working environments for the crew in the business. They just operate better than other shows period. It's impressive.

I love the podcast, I always hear complaints that everyone involved spends too much time raving about each other’s work but like…you listen to everything they do, and every department really does go above and beyond, they all inspire each other to bring their A game.

While I definitely don’t want another spin off in this universe, I hope the crew is able to mostly stick together and work on another tv show or movie because they’ve struck gold
