I posted this in the Star Wars thread and it's probably bullshit, but I think it'd be pretty cool as a big fan of the game

Possibly one of my favorite games but despite cal lmao

would not watch this show.

 

but why? like its a great game with a great unique story that expands the star wars universe instead of hitting the same places and characters over and over again

tell more new stories. if you rehash Fallen Order... you're losing what made it feel so fresh

 

I believe Survivor takes place 5 years after Fallen Order, so maybe the show could take place in between the games?

 

Finished Deathloop last night. Enjoyed it a fair amount. Thought it would be more open then it ended up being, but that was a good thing, I like how the leads kept things pretty structured. Ending was eh, but gameplay wise I had a blast.

It's definitely a little barebones in terms of content, you can tell (and it has been written about) that they wanted to do more but couldn't because their budget got cut, but damn it of those bones aren't amazing

 

Excited because I get my first paycheck today from my new job and tomorrow is the start of the Steam Summer Sale, which feels like cosmic timing, so it must mean God wants me to spend money on games. It's fate.

This is really funny for a lot of reasons that I'm not sure I should share, but I just want it on record that this is really funny.

 

Player's Log: Revelations The Demon Slayer

This little GBC RPG is actually a MegaTen game and a spin-off of SMT and it's their take on Dragon Quest Monsters, so to speak. You can talk to demons (monsters) and convince them to join you, and one of your party members has the ability to combine them into more powerful monsters. There's not a whole lot of info out there on what monsters are good so I'm just recruiting whichever ones looks cool. To get them to join you, you have to negotiate with them and answer a series of 4 questions correctly. Neat game that's been on my backlog forever.

I have not and it's not because it's a blind spot, rather they just don't seem interesting to me? The modern day high school sim thing and I guess overall style of it just isn't my thing tbh. I do have Persona 4 Golden on my Vita. Would that be a safe one to start with?

 

Just saw the trailer for Disgaea 6 on PS5. Looks gorgeous. I've never been all that interested in Disgaea, but might need to give it a run.

 

Fuck yeah, it has the same combat more or less you just described and it's so well done. I didn't think it would bee my thing until I tried it.

Maybe it won't be but its def worth a try with P4G just sitting there on your Vita.

Also, the high school sim you're thinking it is, is probably not accurate.
