I feel like the lack of menu in 2 makes the learning curve more steep.

 

Interesting. I played 2 first so idk. I couldn’t quite weapons head around 1.

 

I think the combat in 2 is more well designed in terms of how people use a controller (I haven't played the Wii version of 1, maybe it was different there), but other than that more complicated (but also more dynamic) than 1

I looked into it this morning since I had some extra time plus I genuinely didn't know and there's definitely precedent for a specialized direct and a regular one almost back to back.
Like, almost to a point where it's no big deal. Hope very much alive and I retract my "unlikely".

 

The only reason people are expecting it is because they were going to have something for the E3 show but who knows what or how many other games they even had

Update: I accidentally stripped a few of the screws while trying to get the back plastic cover off, so there's no replacing the card reader. Likely am going to have to get a new Switch unfortunately. At least this give me an excuse to get an OLED version.

I have NSO that comes with cloud saving. Transferring save data to a new Switch isn't a pain is it?

Played a little of fall guys on switch, definitely super rough and somehow feels like it’s degrading my switch with every pixelated stutter but it’s free! I like free

 

I’m watching someone play it and it’s sooooo rough lol if it wasn’t free that would have been wild

 

My coworkers got me into Stumble Guys (a mobile clone of Fall Guys) and it's the most frustrating experience I've ever encountered

 

Was really looking forward to this and the Cowabunga Collection (Arcade re-release & more) coming later this year. Shredder’s Revenge has not disappointed in the least and I’ve been taking my time as I’m not even done with the first play through yet.

 

XC3 looking insane

 

No brainer purchase for me if it runs well

Anybody play through Lego Star Wars on switch and can comment on it’s performance? Debating whether switch or ps4 is the way to go for that one.
