If the rumor about them reworking the ending to open up season 2 is true, that would be interesting. I feel like there’s more than one episode worth of story left. Would be cool if they actually had a season 2 where Maul is involved too.

  2. Wouldn't mind another season of Ben and Leia Adventures. Really the only Disney SW I've disliked are Solo and 9.

The way that the cast and crew's comments have continuously shifted from "limited series" to "I'd love to do another season, there's plenty of stories to tell" makes me think we're almost certainly getting a season 2. That being said, I'd be surprised if the Leia story isn't wrapped up this season, and the only way Maul is included in season 2 is if they do a live action recreation of their Rebels episode.

I mean, it’s all about when things take place. The final confrontation with Maul is like 6-7 years away. They could do a season with Maul set shortly after this season and leave Ben’s fate ambiguous to Maul and not contradict anything from Rebels as long as it doesn’t take place on Tatooine.

a Maul season could give us flashbacks that include Satine.

    now I want this.

I’d like Season 2 to be an Oni-Wan show and not a Obi-Wan and (insert other pre-existing character) show

There didn’t even need to be a season 1 much less 2

I saw a rumor that it may not be a true season 2 and actually be a Reva spinoff.

I hope that's not true. I haven't seen her in anything else to judge her fully, but her acting has been terrible in this imo

Na you’re tripping. She’s great in The Queens Gambit too

I didn't realize she was in that and vaguely remember her being good in it now, but sorry I just don't think she's very good in this. That's just me though

All caught up with this. I've mostly enjoyed this, but they didn't really make a great episode until Part V. But man I loved Part V. Enough to make this all worth it for me. The flashback sparing between Obi-Wan and Anakin was really well done (though, the aging in both actors was clear). Reva finally became more of a nuanced character. She's been pretty one note for me, but her wanting revenge on both Obi-Wan and Anakin was a nice twist. Moses's acting shined this time around and the dual with Vader was well done.

    You pretty much nailed it.

As much as I enjoyed episode 5 and am hoping episode 6 lives up to the same standard, I do not want a second season of this. Just let it be.

Tbh I don’t care that it would be unnecessary; I’d be stoked for a season 2. I’ve really enjoyed this whole season so far and will gladly take more Ewan as Obi-Wan.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Disney Star Wars is absolutely not about restraint in any way. If the show did well, they will absolutely lean into it until it fails.

Silly as hell that Obi-Wan had another chance to make sure Vader died and simply walked away again.

Owen and Beru defending against Reva was a highlight of this series for me.

If another Obi-Wan season doesn't happen, there's no way we're not getting a Reva spin-off.

    Thoughts:

    - The oscillating between Hayden’s and JEJ’s voices was fucking awesome.

    - Season 2 should be all about Obi-Wan and Qui Gon. Him “leaving” should play nicely into him being able to go on more adventures. I just hope they don’t bring Vader back in mix.

    - Reva should absolutely either get her own show or show up in Andor

    - Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru scene was awesome

    - Overall the show was hit or miss for me, but when it hit it hit well.

Yea, that was really great with how it parallels with the Ahsoka/Vader fight from Rebels. Both fuck up his helmet, Ben the left side, Ahsoka the right side. Which leads to a mixture of voices in both fights. Both have a line each to start the fight. I am no Jedi/I will do what I must vs Vader saying then you will die to both. Vader confessed to killing/destroying Anakin. Both of them choosing to not kill Vader. It’s sort of like poetry, it rhymes.

I am open to a season 2 now, for sure.

I think Reva showing up in the rumored Cal Kestis show would be a better route for her. The dynamic between a fellow youngling/Padawan who survived order 66 but took a different path than her could be interesting. They could team up and give her a redemption story with him guiding her back to the light, maybe some training, too, since he was a little more experienced than her.

yea, I liked the Owen and Beru stuff. Although, I feel like the incels are going to be made about it being Beru who is like fuck running, we will stand and fight. But fuck those assholes.

overall, I’m satisfied with the show. I don’t know if I’d say there were misses, but I did need to see the whole season to form my thoughts about it.

I totally did the Leo pointing when Ben did his signature pose before the fight.

It’s weird, there were moments in this show that felt very cinematic and then at other times felt very Syfy Channel. Plot wise I had no real issues. Loved the cast outside of Kumail (who I just never buy as an actor). I really thought they were going to show Roken is working for Saw Gerrera though.

What moments felt syfy channel like to you?

kumail was minimal enough that it didn’t bother me, but I get what you mean.

really? Huh. I don’t think they’d be a good match. They have very different missions. Both are against the empire, but their values definitely are somewhat opposed.
