Almost finished with Mass Effect 2. Doing all the loyalty stuff so everyone survives the suicide mission. This game is much longer than I remember it being back in the day.

 

Arkham Origins is on there? I thought it was never available digitally.

 

Watching Jeff playing the network test for Rumbleverse, the wrestling BR game, it looks pretty god damn fun

 

Just finished The Quarry. I don’t know if I just got a bad ending or something but it was very…anti-climactic? Had a good time with the game overall but I wish it was a little scarier.

Got through the second palace in Persona 5R last night, officially all caught up to my last file. Having an even better time this time because I know all the mechanics now. What a god damn video game.

 

Player's Log: Lunar 2

Only about 1.5 hours in but I can tell I'm gonna love it. It's got all the charm, sense of adventure, and tropes that made the first one so damn magical. I already have a game over because I fought a boss that I thought was one of those story bosses you couldn't beat. Took a couple tries but I got past it lol

 

I really wish more sequels were like Lunar 2.


Also LMAO at the moment in a boss fight you are getting your ass kicked and you have that revelation of 'ohhhhh I bet i'm supposed to lose this fight!'. Then you get the game over screen. Brutal.


Lunar games do have some brutal ass boss fights where you need to really dedicate roles to each party member. Fuckin love it.

 

Closing in on the end of finishing up TMNT. MP is ridiculous and if you have 6 people on the screen it’s madness in the best way possible. They did a great job with the game.

 

Started Deathloop this weekend and have already put a good amount of time into it. It’s solid, less open than I was expecting, which I honestly enjoy. I like having the leads give me some direction on what to do. Probably will finish it up this week. Combat is fun, I love the slab powers you get for killing the visionaries. World looks great visually, excited to see how the perfect run looks.

 

bought TMNT on Switch yesterday to play with my daughter, it's a ton of fun.

also happy to see more people playing Control, it's a good one!

 

i need to get back into it I’m barely at palace number 4 before I took this break

 

I just got the early access for baldurs gate 3 because i loved divinity and needed a new fantasy game and even though i wanted to wait, i need something to scratch that itch.

I never played bg1 or 2, so no thoughts on how it fits that world, but im hugely impressed with the visuals so far and general vibe and art direction, and Ive found the combat intuitiveish, but still hard. Im still figuring things out like how the environment is impacted by explosions poisons etc and how to avoid damage (very squishy characters early on - ive died a lot).. i dont think its as clear or as accessible as dos2 was in regards to tutorials and explanations, but well see. Im honestly only like an hour in so no real judgement.

 

I played for about two hours and I’m barely just starting the fourth palace. I think I’m just going to rush through it so I can just raise all the social stats.

 

Truly can't wait to play Persona 5 for the third time when it comes to game pass this fall. I can't think of another game better suited to playing cloud streaming and save transfers.
