I remember Fallon saying that when he performed Holocene on Late Night it was his favorite musical performance they'd ever had on the show (or something along those lines)

Wow, that song they performed on Fallon was amazing.

 

Gave the rip I have a listen or two but just compared it to the preview in Itunes and can tell my rip is subpar by a lot. Gonna wait it out for the real deal before getting really deep into this.

 

Confusing question maybe, but the guitar tone in 666 is really familiar and reminds me of a Dire Straits song, does anyone know what Dire Straits song I'm talking about?

A bunch of New York dates just announced.

 

Playing Music Hall of Williamsburg. That's a 550 cap venue, holy shit.

 

Was really hoping for Toronto before the end of the year

 

Girlfriend is buying us tickets for Hammerstein Ballroom tomorrow morning as a Christmas present for me. So excited.

 

Not that I have any doubts but this better be good when I finally listen to it

 

The b-side Haven, Mass is awesome.

 

My second favorite NYC venue (close 2nd to Beacon). Gonna be a great show.

 

Anyone have luck with the NYC presales? I checked at 11 am for Hammerstein but they were all gone by then.

Damnit for some reason I've been thinking today was the release date. Another week wait now.

 

i know, right! it's been 6 weeks since it was announced, 1 more won't kill us!

 

Yeah, 1 week is very manageable. I honestly can't believe I get to hear another Bon Iver record in just 7 days.

 

So excited

 

I feel like this record will definitely be one of my favorites of the year. Folky Vernon is great, but I've loved seeing him delve into the more electronic side of things over the past few years and can't wait to see what a full album of that will sound like.
