Listened 3 times.. Really digging it. When it went into coming home after on spotify I realized they were the exact same tempo and beat almost but it flowed nicely. This new one is def a top tier song for them.

 

Anyone know where I can find the tracklist for this?

 

I've replayed this song a lot over the last 24 hours. On par with most songs from Mother Nature, IMO.

 

Having heard 3 songs so far really digging it, but I hope they have some with more complex drumming on the album. That was always their calling card. I know mother nature was when they changed that approach but I look forward to hearing some complex drumming patterns /fills etc like everything up to MN

 

Reach for the Sun had great/tasteful drumming. It’s what got me into them and they haven’t topped it since

Lol.. mother nature didn't have complex drums so I'll survive. The songs sound top tier so far

 

I agree, it's my least favorite part about the new sound direction: looping drums bore my ears very quickly.

Tyler's drumming is out of this world though, it still excites me every time I spin RFTS. Still my favorite drumming of all time as well, he did amazing things on the kit.

 

Just cannot believe this is the single/album art look they're going with.

 

AllI Ever Want has a different vibe. Almost a different sounding band feel. Gonna give it more listens, and thats not meant as a negative criticism. May help that song stand out on the album. Looking forward to hearing the album.

 

I can definitely feel the Third Eye Blind influences on the verses

 

I didn't realize Chorus did an interview with these guys recently! AJ said they've got a song with Max Bemis coming out too as a bonus song. Kinda wish they weren't working with him after all the shady shit surrounding him lately.

The song Coming Home is so fantastic. Easily one of my favourite TDS songs. Great single choice.

At first I was really confused and thought someone with COVID was at the show but I guess they're saying someone is filming it for them... hopefully.

 

yeahhhh they could have worded that better lol

 

Totally agree, although I'm in love with the song and can't get it out of my head most days. AJ is practically rapping in the second verse and third verse, it's incredible.
