Yeah I’m obsessed with Bedlam. Been listening to it a lot and it’s a bummer things didn’t work out with Thomas although I’m definitely a Jon Theodore fan as well.

Agreed but Cedric has bitched for years about not wanting to play old songs unless they’re reimagined, we’ll see though. Also saw the record label dude commenting on the Reddit that we’ll hear Cedric’s singing soon

 

based on how cedric sounded on the last ATDI album and antemasque, i'm honestly not stoked

between that and juan being injured and ikey being dead... I just can't get excited for a reunion.

 

Antemasque and ATDI albums were both fucking great, and Cedric sounded great live with both bands, don't know what to tell you

 

idk, Antemasque was just alright musically, but Cedric sounded fine on it. His style does seem susceptible to declining with age, though.

 

I overplayed the shit out of antemasque but I still return to Interalia and Diamanté.

I’m not worried about Cedric’s vocals as he seems to have adjusted his performances as he ages. When it comes to playing old TMV songs though… that’s a different beast. Maybe they’ll start playing in a lower tuning to better accommodate him, just like in ATDI?

 

I honestly don’t think they’ll play much old shit. Unless he’s changed his mind in the meantime.

When they toured for Noctourniquet they only played 1 or 2 old songs. If this really is happening they might do the same thing now.
