I'd jam the instrumentals to this tbh. Get Drake out of here!

I feel like the Spanish guitar solo in "Tie That Binds" is the most 'spiritually Drake' thing that has ever been on a Drake song.

not gonna read anyone's thoughts til I am done, but I just started and "Falling Back" is terrible

6 tracks in and this is truly horrendous, is it worse than CLB somehow?!?!?! It might actually be. Is this whole album rap-less? I'll tell you what, the key art does not match this album haha

Honest question, who actually wants to hear Drake rap about how sticky she gets?

Some of these beats are honestly fire, but just feel like Drake doesn't know what to do with them. Massive particularly is a really fantastic and interesting instrumental track but Drake just... sounds lost

"Liability" is actually kinda cool, it's weird as hell, but works more than the rest of the album

Hm I'll go against the grain and say this is the most I've enjoyed a Drake album on first listen since More Life (not including Dark Lane). There are some wild misses on here but at least he's trying something new and not just doing Drake on autopilot like Scorpion and CLB

    Regular

Maybe I’m listening to a different album, because this is the most I’ve enjoyed a Drake project since 2015

edit: I should clarify “enjoyed” is relative to the rest of his recent discography.

Soft House is not the sound I pictured Drake going in, but here we are. Can't see myself returning to this at all.
