Forever Came Calling are doing a full-album play at this State Champs show.

I know it became a running joke here but I went to see SKSK a few months ago and DRUGS opened for them. The place was PACKED and after DRUGS were done more than half the venue left.

The thing that was weirdest for me last night is all the teenage girls screaming for CTE like it's some kind of a pop idol show. I know they had some success with Octane in the past 3-4 years but this was just beyond crazy.

I would've killed for this lineup 10 years ago & would also kill for it on the East Coast today

  6. I'd skip my family plans to see them play on the 4th if they added a Chicago date. Right now I'm considering either the Champaign show (which is a festival) or the South Bend show (looks like a cool, tiny place but is a 2+ hour drive on a weeknight).

If they were definitely playing "Another Flammarian Woodcut" I would steal my girlfriend's car and drive to both.

Just saw Bayside and Thrice and what a good show!
I've seen Thrice 3 times in the last 10 months and was not feeling seeing them again but what a great performance they put tonight. And it was my frist time seeing Bayside and now I became a huge fan!

Probs like 75%, there was lots of room to walk between the crowd. If they didnt change the venue Radius would have looked really empty

In reference to the CTE thing, these nostalgia tours and bands are only going to kill more now with the world the way it is. I’m a mental health therapist and people want the feeling of life before our world went to total shit

The album they are touring for came out 10 years ago and the place was packed with 15-16 year old girls. I'm not sure nostalgia was the big factor here.

That is interesting- and gives me hope for an eventual Warped Tour return (or something very similar taking it’s place). Nostalgia is fleeting, but if the young kids are getting back into that type of music, it might be indicative of real demand for that stuff for the foreseeable future.

Maybe one of their songs became popular on TikTok? I can see that helping them gaining followers with the new generations

It seems like all these tours are getting crazy now, at least in Chicago. Bands like Dayseeker and Like Moths To Flames are selling out mid sized venues, The Amity Affliction sold out the Metro not long ago...

New Weezer album dropping next Tuesday along with “some fun news.” I suspect a tour of some sort

What is Weezer's move after doing a stadium co-headlining tour? Feel like they usually like doing package stuff so I wonder who they could team up with. Is Weezer/The Offspring unrealistic at this point?

I was wondering the same thing. Not with The Offspring specifically, but after Hella Mega, they could use a solid tour package
