I can always be better, so I'll always try. Supporter

For some reason I thought these EPs would have more collabs. Giving them a shot now even though I’m far more interested in the next trio.

I was at the show too! The only other time I've seen them put up the partition was for Thursday a few years back. The Underground next door only has ~700 capacity, which I think would have been too small.

Easy/Lucky/Free as the last song almost made me shed a tear. I'm so glad they played it.

Listening for the first time now and the Companion EP's rule. Especially really love the Letting Off the Happiness songs.

Anyone go to the Cincy show last night? Couldn't make it due to a family thing but I know he said he wasn't looking forward to playing here recently lol.

Been enjoying these companion EPs, playing them all back to back as one new album is pretty great

If we get companion EPs for Lifted, Wide Awake and Digital Ash soon I might lose it.

saw them in Seattle & Portland over the weekend. Good shows but mostly due to a very solid/tight band as Conor is in a rambly funk my friends. When he talks between songs just strap in & hold on for the ride.

In Portland, he forgot most lyrics to Lover I Dont Have to Love & Bowl of Oranges too but then got better as set went on. He later apologized & thanked everyone for sticking it out with him though which was redeeming.

P.S. why is he playing Lover I Don’t Have to Love? Seems like a bold/poor choice for a number of reasons

I thought the band put on an absolutely fantastic show tonight. Conor sounded fucking amazing, I can't believe his voice is still so absolutely perfect, he hits every note almost the same as the album, even his strained more intense vocals. And the band was so great, I forgot Deantoni Parks was in the touring band and he put on a fucking show. My friend who doesn't really know The Mars Volta was blown away by his drumming, he really brought so much to the songs. The orchestra? Fucking great, No One Would Riot For Less with that string section was absolutely stunning. First Day of My Life with the flute and mandolin!?!?! Who woulda fucking thought, but wow.

  25. work fucked me with the annual leave I was due and I can't go to the Dublin show anymore. the dream is dead. fuck.
