The CTL b-sides are so good. The "Take 'Em As They Come" cover was probably never going on an album, but I love it so much.

Open Bar Reception is definitely one of my favorite Jimmy Eat World songs.

 

My favorite non album tracks are their covers “Last Christmas” and especially “Firestarter.”

 

555 is fine but its one of the worst on the album

speaking of their christmas songs, if you were born today deserves more love

 

555 is why I try not to watch music videos. Cause now every time I hear that song I think of that video and…yeah.

It's my favorite post-CTL song and in my top five overall.

 

Be Sensible is a top 5 JEW song for me. Just some fantastic songwriting from Jim Adkins.

Those are my top 5 Jimmy songs, off the top of my head. Not necessarily their *BeSt* but those are the songs that I listen to on the regz and the ones that I lose my mind most at when they play them live.

 

both are good songs, but one fits the album better than the other.

That said, they like have “weird one” on each album in the more modern era, soooooo. Like 555, Pass The Baby, Drugs,

 

In anticipation of their concert on Friday, I've been having a blast going through their discography in chronological order. Chase This Light and Invented are next on my long drives this afternoon and as usual, replaying their albums one by one makes me go on a "fuck this band is truly one of the GOAT" high.

Also, the more I listen to Static Prevails, the more I love it. I do wish it had more of Jim's clean vocals, even though his harsher performance fits that album's style for the most part.

 

Random but now that I picked up rollerskating, I've decided this is going to be my anthem

 

If Loud is part of an album, which it feels like it will be, I wish they’d say from they’d say it’s from a forthcoming full length even if they don’t wanna release all the album details.

They sort of just dropped love never/half heart that way. New song is fantastic and I’m guessing there is more fun stuff in the way.
