also wild, has Jeff really NEVER gone to rehab? Did a small dig and it looks like he hasn't (I saw he refused the first time he was fired from WWE and didn't seem to after Victory Road). I feel like I vaguely remember him saying that "prison was [his] rehab" in that WWE doc they did on them a few years back

 

I mean it can but it also doesn’t help him that he refused help that they offered.

 

I mean who knows if they offered anything well / I don’t trust WWE about any of this shit either

 

WWE has a pretty rock solid history of offering current and former employees rehab.

Jeff needs help and Matt is an idiot if he keeps telling us there isn't a problem there.

 

Jeff needs to get the fuck away from every part of the life style he has lived the past 15 years or so. He's been in the same cycle forever, watching him take those massive bumps during his time in AEW I KNEW he was taking shit, there is no way someone with his problems and past is taking insane bumps without being fueled by opiates. Now, that's just my opinion but I'd bet the house on it being accurate.

Unless Jeff completely leaves wrestling and the spotlight, he's going to have a very unfortunate event that will force him to leave wrestling forever, I don't want to see that. I don't want to see him dead.

It's very common, addiction is a family disease. The addict suffers in one way and the family of the addict suffers in a total different way but it can be just as severe as well. He is in denial.

Along with addiction comes manipulation and massive dishonesty, of course he has lied

 

That one seemed pretty clear; breathalyzed on the spot, drug tested that came back negative...basically just did the same thing Toni Storm did around that time, fed up with being in WWE and pieced out.

But good god, blowing a 0.3 is BAD. Thats like, blackout, bordering on you need to be in a hospital to have your stomach pumped to live levels of drinking. Means he got in a car while basically being unable to see

 

I get people build up a tolerance and whatnot but I just can’t fathom blowing a .29+ and being able to even know what a fucking car is let alone maneuver the keys into starting it and putting it in drive/reverse and getting on a road like wtf

 

I hope they don't drop the match entirely. Just make it Jurassic Express vs the Bucks or throw FTR in there

Yeah I can't fathom it either, I feel like it basically comes down to genetics. Some people can just drink a fuck ton more than others before being completely passed out drunk.

 

Idk what Jeff used but drugs like cocaine allow you to drink a lot more than usual too.

 

Eh, that match was so slapdash in the first place...it only made sense because of the Christian->Hardys connection, and because JE would lose and Christian would snap.

They can still get to that match in a few weeks with a better build
