Bummer! It was a really great time, even though I was a bit bummed that most of the bands had shorter sets than I would have liked.

I'm honestly not sure how Four Year Strong operates. But when they said they'd be back, could that possibly mean they have a Boston show coming up? I don't think they play that city very often. And the draw is big enough they could play Boston in the fall (Paradise, maybe?) and then do the hometown show per usual.

(And again. I might have misheard, though I'm 99% convinced that's what he said.)

They haven’t had a real major hit in a while? Thought someone mentioned they were making a pivot towards more of a rock sound now. They have a great voice but the amount of extra-ness is just too much for me.

Oh, they are leaning into the rock direction. They held a "funeral" for their earlier releases. LOL :crylaugh::crylaugh::crylaugh:

yeah she’s playing the Ryman in Nashville which is a 2700 cap. Pretty crazy. Maybe it’s because she’s switching from pop to rock

I always thought Kenny and n,n. would tour together eventually, I just always thought it would be a co-headliner if anything. I saw them both at the same venue on their headliners a couple months apart and they both sold it out within the same amount of time. But then again Kenny only had a local support him, while n,n. had a huge touring package. So I guess it makes sense.

I've seen this complaint a lot and I think the big thing that makes the difference is venue one sees him in. Most complaints I see are festival or arena performances. Saw him in a club and loved it, didn't notice anything off.

Also Kennyhoopla has radio support, they play him all the time here in San Diego and I've never heard nothing, nowhere been played on the radio.

This is a good call on Coheed’s end. The fact DGD were gonna try and persevere with shows is crazy

    Now the question is who?
    My short list of possibilities:
    Thrice
    Spiritbox
    Manchester Orchestra

I would imagine a large portion of people buying tickets for that tour just got absolutely screwed by this announcement. Kind of a bummer. Not an easy situation to navigate. Wonder who they’ll get

re: Foo Fighters Taylor Tribute Show

No mention at all of this being their final shows, although I wouldn't expect them back touring until some point in 2023

Saw him at Slam Dunk Festival this past weekend and he was fantastic. Played with a full band which helped him sound huge, he def has big star potential.
