Echoing others their last three are all so close together in quality that you should really check out all of those. A Deeper Understanding is my personal favorite but it's very close

Slave Ambient doesn't quite do it for me like the last three even though it's really really good (and was my intro to the band)

 

Slave Ambient is great, but the last 3 are transcendent imo. If you start with the most recent and make your way backwards, you’ll go from more “poppy” to more “spacey.” Lost in the Dream is my favorite, but they’re all great.

 

Goddamn. What a fucking show.

 

I wish I was hearing them for the first time again, have been hooked since that day.

Again, the last three are the perfect trio if you are starting from the recent album. Slave Ambient is also good, although it’s definitely a bigger jump.

I was randomly thinking the other day that if I could only listen to one band for the rest of my days, I think they are it. They are so good when I’m happy, amazing when I’m down and still work with everything in between.

A Deeper Understanding would be the best starting point IMO. Lost in the Dream is great but it wont hook you immediately like ADU

 

I’m late to the party but for whatever reason I didn’t appreciate this album the first time around. Now I love it and Change is one of their greatest songs ever!??? God damn

 

I went to see these guys tonight in Kansas City tonight and they blew me away. Red Eyes was a favorite of mine that I was expecting. I was expecting to like Harmonia’s Dream, but it blew me away even more than I thought it would. Also, I like Under the Pressure on the album, but the live version surprised me how hard it went

 

My wife and I are seeing them tomorrow night unless our kid comes early (due date is 6/14 lol)

 

Wow, major props to your wife, I'm two months behind your due date and I think we're about to pass the point where I can drag her out to anything anymore

 

Haha yeah I was expecting to sell the tickets like months ago I’m shocked tbh. But she really really loves this band, we’ll have seats, and the venue is literally five min from our hospital jic lol. She’s a trooper for sure

Doors were at 6:00, no opener, and they came out at 8:00. I don’t know if the times will be the same for each tour stop though

I’ve kicked myself for missing their last 2 trips to Birmingham. Had no idea they were playing tonight here until late last week. Bought a ticket 1.5 hours ago and here I am. Favorite venue in Bham(Avondale) for the vibes. Outdoor. The night is perfect. Let’s gooooooo

(so far there not many people her AT ALL. Probably undersold. I mean I saw ZERO promotion for it based on who I follow on socials. Oh well. I’m stoked.)

Play Ocean Between the Waves and In Chains you COWARDS!

 

deluxe album came out with two b-sides. both great songs

 

I’m excited to check those out! Btw the crowd has filled in nicely.

 

They played one of the new B sides, I think Slow Ghost is what he said. But they didn’t play Ocean OR In Chains OR Pain OR Thinking of a Place. I am hurt. It is what it is. Enjoyed the show. Wish I was more familiar with the newest album.

(setlist.fm shows they played Ocean but I swear to God they didn’t play it. Maybe they played Pain like it said; maybe. At most).

 

Wow. I really love both of these two bonus tracks. There's a strong chance this is my favorite album of theirs now with these two songs.
