“Stepping away” is was most likely chosen due to how close the record release is. Out right stating that Tilian will no longer be in the band could hurt album sells from the “why listen to this when the vocalist is not even in the band anymore” crowd.

As the months and months go on I think DGD will edge their way into announcing a new vocalist or just continue with Andrew.

 

I’m pretty sure Tilian will be out for a tour and then back once he’s “better”. This is what I expected tbh but I’m glad they’re at least addressing the matter.

I don't think it's fair to assume he's coming back. If he does I'm out. For now I'm just happy they have a few paths forward without him

 

Every fandom has good and bad people because there are just plenty of shitty people in the world. Whenever something happens people always comment on how shitty a particular fanbase is but like, a ton of people just suck in general. You’ll find them everywhere in every fanbase.

I’m glad Tilian is out. Dude seems like a real POS based on the experiences that have been shared.

 

Fuck Tilian. I’m glad he’s out. Hopefully he’s out for good, but this is a step in the right direction. Good on the band for doing what needed to be done. Hoping for the best for them moving forward.

 

Nutso that this is the actual thing happening with this band. They are plagued man. Nuts. I feel SO bad for the people affected and I feel SO bad for the people who blindly follow whatever this band and it’s cohorts do/say. I honestly never thought this would happen, but I realize it’s necessary for a change in this band. Please, God.

It really will boil down to the frequency of this and if Will caught notice of more. One message and I’m sure Tillian could use some emotional techniques to make it seem like it was all handled out of view or something.

I was gonna say tilian seems manipulative enough to get people on his side. I know all about that through my drug addiction and manipulating to get my way and convince people of certain things, I was dangerously good at it and it’s one of my worst traits. I know it’s not the same thing when dealing with sexual assault but I’m not gonna throw will under the bus yet knowing how tilian acts

well I saw it before it got taken down and he can defend himself but that accusation is far from credible from what I saw and is being used as payback because that person doesn’t believe tilians victims. assuming that’s the same woman he was referring to but I’ll let him address it

 

I believe @beachdude provided evidence of the false claims and has one of Tilians accusers (whom he is friends with irl) vouching for him.

 

That is his abusive ex trying to lash out at him for supporting Tilian’s accuser (a personal friend), who also has a long history of lying and being caught spreading false allegations against other people.

Imo this conversation doesn't belong here. It's irrelevant to the band and beachdude is not in a band I'm aware of. It's a matter between price individuals that doesn't need to be debated here
