This feels like it’s never gonna end. Think this is the final fight about to start? Jeez.

Matt Smith should’ve been Morbius.

 

Hold on, brother. It’s totally worth sitting through to get to the epic mid credits scenes.

 

Woof. Ok.

Even if Jared Leto were a sweetheart irl instead of a creep, he should not have been in this thing. Such an unpleasant lead performance. At least some bad superhero flicks have likable leads that can let you have fun with the mess. I truly underestimated how painful it would be to stare at that jackass.

Shout out to Matt Smith for somehow having fun with this. He might’ve been the only one (besides maybe Al Madrigal & Michael Keaton?), but when he was on, he was really having a blast. That pointless scene of him dancing while putting on a shirt was the best in this whole dang movie, lol.

Had the random thought at one point: Jared was basically discount ASM Lizard, while Matt was better ASM2 Harry.

What else can I say that’s positive? Hm. Well… the colors and minimal design of the title card and credits was kinda nice? The look of morbed-out Morbius in the final fight, with the black suit with purple jacket interior, directing his bats was kinda cool? As clearly last minute and barely cobbled together the credit scene was, Vulture’s mask might be an improvement?

About those credit scenes… the way they were edited into the credits was so awkward and bad, lol. Factor in how abrupt the ending was, and the awkward tease of vampire lady, and… yeah. Total mess there. I will say, I still think the NWH finale accidentally sending Toomes away makes fine comic book sense, as does him thinking Spidey might be involved. And, on its own, I definitely don’t read the wording to mean Vulture wants Morbius to help fight Spider-Man, so much as him wanting to form a team (not unlike the one he had before even fighting Spidey in Homecoming). But, the way that was slapped together was bad.

Looking forward to Kraven, which should be way more fun. Hoping they end up continuing to use Vulture on this Venom earth, but get rid of Doctor Michael Morbius off camera, lol.

 

If true, this is the dumbest damage control ever.

 

Sony will slowly erase the entire film

Hahahahahaha next they will remove vulture entirely, cut the first scene, and leave the second scene with Leto driving, stopping, staring in the distance, ending with him saying “interesting.”
