I've already played this way too many times today. The synth during/after 2nd chorus, the buildup to the breakdown.. Just

 

I swear these guys can do no wrong. I don't know how they keep getting better and better.

 

Sacrifice is suburb. Watchtower isn't that to me, but this is still a solid track for sure. I really like this era of the band so far. (The Act til now)

 

I agree, Sacrifice is my preferred of the two. Both are good previews to the level of quality the band is producing right now. Stoked.

 

I feel like The Act really lost me, but Zombie II, to Sacrifice, to Watchtower have REALLY stepped up for me. Haven't felt this way since Dead Throne, which was the last peak for me.

 

I really like the Act but I agree that this new era of TDWP has been gold. Love the two new songs.

 

I really dig The Act for what it is. I would say that some of the tracks off that record are some of their best to date.. but yeah the “new” era starting with ZII is much stronger.

ZII is perfect start to finish, I LOVE Sacrifice, and I’m really digging Watchtower too. They’re 3 for 3 at this point. I can’t wait for the new record!!

 

The only TDWP record that underwhelmed me is 8:18 but even Mike said that record underwhelmed him big time.

Space EP was pretty solid and Transit Blues/The Act both have a few filler tracks but also contains some of their strongest work.

 

I’m hoping they announce a headlining tour soon if it’s safe enough to do so.

 

So how about that Zombie tour!! Absolutely stoked. I had posted on Reddit about a year ago saying they should do it. Definitely was common sense for them to tie it all together.

 

Got tix this morning for the Sacramento show - pumped!

Prada is putting out their best material to date so I am beyond excited for this. Hopefully, it’s a single release with an album announcement!

 

Yeah new Prada is best Prada. Hyped for whatever this is.

 

I hope the art for the single is for the new album because I love it!

I was not expecting that today! Super hyped!

 

It hasn’t been officially announced (I’m thinking it will when they drop the new single Salt next week) but it’s from the same Twitter handle that correctly leaked info on Sacrifice and Watchtower.

If the quality is on the same level as those two and ZII? HYPED beyond words.

 

Yeah, these last couple singles + the last EP has me absolutely hyped. Was expecting to be done with this band after the last LP and I’m full obsessed again, long live TDWP!!!!

 

So ready for the new album! I feel like they’re one of the few bands in the scene to stay consistent, at least for me anyways!

 

I enjoy The Act a lot but are the singles and ZII overall stronger? Yup!

 

They’re easily my favorite metalcore band of all time and they’ve only gotten better with age.

 

The Act is amazing.
