And of course he’s only going to post it on Reddit because he thinks that’s the only place this stuff has gotten out on and know it’s a place that will show him support.

I really hope the band does something because this sucks and he has no business having a platform in music to be able to prey on others.

 

It seems to have backfired for him as the thread where he “apologized” has shot up to the top of whatever the equivalent of Reddit’s front page is (r/all?). So eyes are on it where they wouldn’t normally have been thank god

 

It looks like most of the comments on the post are saying his apology isn't enough and that he needs to go, thankfully

And yea I'm not expecting the band to do much other than "Tillian is taking some time away so we'll be on hiatus for now" at some point, doubt it'll go further than that. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

today seems like it would be a good day for the band to say something ...

 

I feel like they'll say something today, they were probably giving him air to push out his own statement (whether it would be that shitty reddit one or not) and work out what they needed to internally/contractually before making a statement on it. I know there can be tons of hoops to jump through right before a huge tour like this, but I really hope they do the right thing and make a move

 

I have a feeling it'll be Monday at the earliest before we hear anything. There's likely a lot of internal stuff going on right now between the band, Rise, and probably Coheed/the other bands DGD is scheduled to tour with. I have a feeling a lot of major decisions are having to be worked through first. I hope I'm wrong though and they make some kind of statement sooner.

 

True, logistically I think Monday would definitely be the most likely, but I think I'm being hopeful that DGD can at least 'address' it today even before all details are worked out. I feel like at the very least they wouldn't want the weekend to leave people hanging, but who knows. I just hope they say something soon

Honestly, I think their best move is to make a post ASAP just saying they are aware and working through it right now and will post more later. Lets fans know they aren't trying to just ignore it away, and gives the band and everyone involved time to figure everything out.

I don’t think the band is going to do anything tbh, they’ve had a few days to at least even acknowledge what’s happened. They are bigger than they’ve ever been and probably making a shit ton of money the last few years. Hopefully I’m wrong butttttttt

Seeing the huge amount of courage my friend had to come forward, and then this scumbag doesn’t even have the decency to give her an apology at all because I guess she doesn’t have as much “evidence” as the other victim, so he feels like he doesn’t have to… I’m still seething about that. Fuck Tilian so much.
