I listen to like 300ish new albums a year & it's still one of my fav's from the last 5 years, it's incredible

 

300 0.0 I’m impressed, I wish I could do that. How do you manage that? I’m trying to get myself to listen to more albums each year but it’s a struggle sometimes haha

 

Honestly, I need a better system, but it's just notes app on my Iphone. I have a folder for every year, and a note for every month in that folder, with one additional note for anything I really enjoy/AOTY as the year progresses. Whenever I find out about an album releasing I'll write it down in that month's note, and whenever I listen to something I'll write something about it. If I like it, I put a star beside it. If I love it, I'll put 2 stars beside it. It could be better, but it works for me for now

 

I take my favorite song off of any album I jam from that year and put them in a playlist.

My first ever Warped Tour was there in 2005 and didn't return because of the lack of shade. There was one tree in a sea of 20k people on concrete on a summer's day haha

 

You must have really good storage on your phone haha I like your system! I should try that. Right now I just have 3 notes (2022 releases, albums coming soon, and ones I’ve already heard). It gets full though, so I think I’ll be better organized if I do for each month like you got. Thank you!

 

And that was a very hot day too. It was the only time I went as well until the festival down in AC.

 

$40 (total) Jimmy Eat World tickets for an outdoor show in front of the rock and roll hall of fame. Looking forward to that one.

Do you know the feeling when you see a movie in the theater and when it's over it was so good that you want to go back in and see it all over again? This is how a Jimmy Eat World concert feels like to me every time I see them.

There were some twitter threads accusing him of SA & Grooming a few years back. Most people assumed they were fake because they both came from new accounts with similar handles (@kam02700814 & @leah62053062) after there already was a mounting hate train against him, but it's still worth mentioning.

He also just has a jackass sense of humor has been known to say some racially insensitive and transphobic stuff over the years, but his public actions still seem to firmly support LGBTQ Youth and BLM, so I don't think it counts as "horrible" or anything.

 

people think the 2000’s was bad for that kinda stuff but the 2010’s really was a peak. Children of the mark Tom and Travis show, “no one realizes that the internet lives forever” era.

 

These guys just can't catch a break... They sure know how to pick their singers
