He needed this. Hasn’t looked right for weeks and the off days here and there weren’t cutting it.

 

Hosmer's had a terrible May and has generally been a replacement level player for the last few years (except for 2020). And of course Paddack's on the shelf until probably 2024. We were better off seeing if Dom could bounce back (which I still hope is possible now that he'll be playing every day and working on things in a lower pressure environment)
