That Turnstile subt show announcement is giving me flashbacks to Trash Talk guy growling at my buddy that if he didn't dive from the balcony he was going to come up there and snap his neck.

 

The vibes were just off when I went. I went to see a YouTube singing group I like (or did so at the time) and the show itself was fine but the venue was just strange. The guy who checked my ticket was like a 10 year old kid and there were a bunch of folding chairs randomly placed in the middle of the venue but it wasn’t required seating so people were also just standing in front of all the chairs. The atmosphere and layout is more like a ballroom type place. The bar was like a movie theater bar, they were selling drinks but also candy and popcorn which I thought was a little strange haha, but that wasn’t too weird I guess. All the employees there were kind of strange too.

 

It’s an old banquet hall, that explains quite a bit about your experience.

I’ve never been inside, just know they aren’t good neighbors.

I am. It might be a bit of wishful thinking since they’re my favorite band but I could see it happening

 

If I can get a ticket for Turnstile, I'll take the train into Chicago on Sunday to see Charli XCX and Green Day, and then go to the after show. I already have a hotel on standby in case I can. Send prayers.
