After this week I’m fully on team Maryanne, but I don’t think she’ll be able to win a challenge or make fire to get herself to final 3. She’ll need to work HARD to convince any of the others to take her I think.

Crazy last couple of episodes.

 

Love this cast. Love Maryanne. But survivor is fucking up if they think that was a satisfying ending to the season.

 

Release the unedited final tribal.

 

I’m a firm believer in the theory that the Jury is never wrong but as a viewer that was weird.

 

I disagree! Think Maryanne was really persuasive in that final tribal and Mike really fucked it up.

 

Yeah. Past contestants said Mike for sure lost it at final tribal. I felt like they did a good job editing wise.

I was 100% team Maryanne after the Omar plurality blindside. But then the finale made it clear Mike/Jonathan were in on it. So it’s not like she can claim full credit over them like the penultimate episode tried to make it seem.

totally get mike choked final tribal. And it’s not like he was dominant all game. But given they were both loved socially, not sure how she gets the edge strategically.

jury is never wrong tho. Just a strange edit.

So Maryanne apparently did a 5 hour deep dive on the Rob C. podcast. Who the hell has time for that ?

I did in fact listen to all 5.5 hours and came away very very convinced by her strategy. She was very deliberate.

I’ve been watching all of the seasons, starting from one. There were so many I just completely missed. Just finished 10 (Palau) and it’s an early favorite so far.

Nah, they've basically nixed the themes for now. Just Survivor 43.

 

My wife and I continue to power through. Just started season 30 last night. The white collar, blue collar, no collar theme seems weird initially but we’ll see how it plays out

 

I'm very curious to see which of the changes/new things they did for 41/42 stick around for 43, I am sure the producers have been keeping an eye on what did and didn't work well
