After finding out there was an armed teacher, Fox called for arming students

 

Our School District did ALICE training a few years back with all staff. It's an active shooter training that stands for 'Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate.

We had the Police Sergeant tell us (repeatedly): "Flee if you can, hide if you can't and fight if you're gonna die."

So, like others have mentioned, if your building is big enough, and the shooting is happening on one end, the other end is encouraged to evacuate, if the shooting is nearby, lockdown and hide and if the shooter gets into the classroom, you counter by throwing whatever you can at the shooter.

Just totally normal, nothing fucked up about this country at all!
