This morning my son was leaving for school (he’s in kindergarten) and he was all excited because he got to have a field trip today to go see the high school kids perform Alice in Wonderland on stage. As my wife drove him away to his bus stop I was standing at the door and he signed “I love you” out the window because he’s been learning sign language and likes to do that with me. As I stood there, my heart sank and I felt this awful dread inside of me. I wanted to run after the car and tell my wife to stop, bring him back, but I stood still watching him disappear down the street, wondering what it would be like for that signed “I love you” to be the last I ever saw of my little boy. Later my wife told me that, when the bus rode off, she had to fight the urge to follow it because something inside of her was screaming for him to get off the bus. She told me about that and said “I just have this weird feeling that something awful is going to happen” and I told her I had the same sinking feeling; like there was something hanging in the air.

And it did, just not here.

I’m sick of this country. I hate it here.

Children, human beings, offered up as actual, non-metaphorical sacrifices once again to maintain the American class system.

To the nation's beneficiaries of industry, theft, and conquest, the right people are dying. Insects killing insects, with propaganda to pacify the masses, and scapegoats in the form of politicians to redirect our anger towards. Nothing will ever, ever change until the boardrooms of Fortune 500 companies are the places routinely under fire. Until then, this isn't a tragic flaw of American society-- it's a requisite characteristic, working exactly how they want: the brutal, bloodthirsty enforcement of a rigid, permanent hierarchy, under no threat whatsoever from an exhausted populace easily distracted and stultified by an insidious, vacuous media network.

Good guys with guns

 

I am sick and tired of hearing that more guns is the answer. This stupid fucking country has the most guns of any country in the world and this shit continues to go on. Just fucking disgusted with those people.

 

I’m having a difficult time tonight with everything.

 

What happens next?

1. Democrats will say they’re going to enforce stricter gun control, whatever that even means (they won’t).
2. Republicans will get their base in a frenzy about the Democrats planning to take their guns away.
3. Gun and ammunition sales will dramatically increase.
4. There will be calls for lots of thoughts’in and prayers’in.
5. Obama might sing Amazing Grace and cry again.
   
6. Tucker Carlson will ponder aloud about how maybe the radical left’s embrace of transgender people caused all of this.

 

I'm wondering how exactly he got in. Did he just shoot through the doors, just walk right in? I know at the schools in my town the doors are usually locked and you need to be buzzed in my the office during the school day

 

Given the continued history of this, literally nothing is going to happen and it’s fucking sickening. So exhausted being alive in this world.
