Spoken word storytelling songs have never hit for me. They just feel sorta awkward. Maybe something will hit eventually.

This album is great. “A break from the barrage” is some of craig’s best storytelling. Might be his best solo album.

His best solo album since We All Want The Same Things. Opener and Never Any Horses are my early favourites. Hard to think of a better indie rock lyricist from his generation. Maybe Isaac Brock but Craig has definitely retained his consistently great lyricism deeper into his career.

This is great. It's been awesome to see how Craig's solo career has developed over time. Seems like every album has been better than the last.
