Was playing the new Harry Styles on our drive the other day and it felt like the album was playing out of order from the flow, and turns out it was on shuffle for whatever reason and also went from track 1 to 3. Super weird

YES. DEAR GOD YES. The skipping is so frustrating. I don’t understand any rhyme or reason to why it happens, but there are certain album, where a certain song ALWAYS skips and I have to go back and play it. I’ve been so frustrated with this happening recently that I don’t even want to listen to music much anymore because I know I’ll get annoyed with it.

Anyone else getting delayed or no notifications and lag on their watch after the 8.6 update? i have a series 6. I did the workarounds with the Watch app on disabling and reenabling everything like it was, still no luck.

It takes a minute to change songs and i get the vibration or sound when a notification comes in, but nothing after that.

I create content for some of your favorite artists

when I did a trial of Apple Music last year when they launched lossless/atmos I had the track skipping issue, but only in CarPlay. Was incredibly infuriating and made me stick with Spotify

  7. Literally had it today listening to Enema of the State

Glad it’s just not me. Been thinking of switching to another service anyway.

I’m so much happier with AM than I was with Spotify lol

  10. I’ve never seen or heard of this bug. Heh. I only use Marvis on iOS these days but this sounds like it should be widespread enough to have it fixed/people know.

So i lost my Apple Watch somewhere in my house on April 18th (at least that’s when/where it shows up on Find My) and because that was 4 days after having our first baby, i still haven’t had the time to do a full house search for it. But I’m really starting to miss it now that I’m back at work. Ugh

Yeah, that’s the thing. After Rdio bit the dust AM was the best experience. But I have issues on my phone and computer so want to see if anything has changed.

Yeah, unfortunately translates over to Marvis as well. But yeah, this is a bug where you wonder if anyone who develops AM actually uses it.

  17. Weird. Wonder how wide spread it is or what causes it. I’ve never run into it.

I'm also curious how wide spread it is.. seems like 5 or so people in this thread encounter it, but I don't know anyone personally who has run into it and have trouble finding people online with the same problem.

I've thought about trying out the Marvis player, instead of Marvis using the music.app player. Just haven't tried yet since it seems like there are a few downsides to using the Marvis player.. but honestly, having a music app that actually reliably plays music should probably be my number one concern.

I beta tested this app. It absolutely rules. Highest possible recommendation for people here.

  21. I love it on iOS. Obviously, because of scrobbling, but really I love the interface and how customizable it is. I have it set up exactly how I want a music app to work, and have no complaints.

I’ve been on the beta as well and it’s 100% worth it at this price (or more).

  23. Count me as another person with the Apple Music skipping issue. It almost always happens when my phone is connected to my car (not CarPlay) and I start an album from the beginning. It almost always skips track 2 and usually at least one more song
