If I wanna play The Show and have never played what settings do I want for hitting and pitching? Anything good to start with and then move to? #losernewbie

 

I’ve been playing it for 15 years and rookie is the highest tolerable hitting setting for me…lol

 

I have no idea what I’m doing and just picked random shit for the type of batting and pitching but then beat up on Atlanta where’s my HoF plaque

 

watching single a baseball makes me want to play mlb the show

 

I just use timing with buttons for hitting and meter for pitching. The two easiest difficulties are new and super easy. Once you're used to it, rookie should be good, veteran if you get decent at it. I have no idea how anybody plays on the high difficulties lol

 

I think pinpoint pitching is the most fun but is a challenge especially for a newbie, but once you practice it a while and get the hang of the motions it’s good. If you want something easier start with pulse pitching.

I’ve always sucked at hitting as I’m too impatient and love to chase balls way out of the zone. Timing is easiest so you could start there on rookie and move up once it’s too easy. Also could try zone hitting, I do that but I’m not good at it lol. Also play around with the hitting camera view and see what you like best to pick up pitches in and out of the zone.
