Can’t wait for the inevitable meltdowns when Thrice releases new music, but not Horizons / West lmao

 

How dare you consider their families as higher priorities than some goofballs on an internet forum!

 

You wanted literal confirmation that 2022 was the intention, so I provided it. But now you are moving the goalposts to my temperament when I previously said it's perfectly fine if their plans changed.

I just think they should've offered a bit more clarity on the situation during the release of these two new songs. Instead they gave vague messages through Discord and IG. We wouldn't be asking had they not spent the end of last year telling us about /West and their intention to finish recording in early 2022.

Is this ultimately a trivial matter in these times of neo-fascism? 100%.

I think both sides are being a little silly

thrice def implied it was farther along and being a companion album would lead you to believe it was coming out sooner.

but now that we know it’s not, who gives a shit? It will come out and prob be pretty awesome like everything else they’ve done.

As someone who never got into Thrice back in high school (around when Vheissu came out), and who has enjoyed a lot of what I've heard from them but hasn't spent a ton of time with them, this thread has given me way more entertainment than the actual band it's about.

 

Really want to see what the setlist looks like for this tour. Still on the fence about going.

 

The Horizons songs were pretty meh live when I saw them in SD. Just seemed like the tempos were a little off. Hope they get those dialed

 

They sounded great when I saw them in Philly
