Scream, Halloween, and Friday the 13th

Horror movie Trinity confirmed

 

Extremely fucked up to do this to F13 on F13. It's gotta be Halloween.

Hot take: Having some genuinely bad entries is a staple of horror franchises and as such Halloween deserves the win. Not only for being the OG (which is the best movie in either franchise), but also for creating the reason we're all here!

 

Scream is likely my favourite horror movie, which I can’t say for any of the Friday movies, and I love all the sequels, which I can’t say for the Friday franchise… but Friday still should’ve won

I just voted for Scream, but honestly being reminded of this is enough to make me change my vote. Resurrection is soo good!

 

I legitimately always forget that Resurrection exists.

This is for entire franchises right? Not just movies. Because the Scream franchise outside of the movies is pretty bare. Friday the 13th has one of the most fun online video games in recent years.

 

Ghostface is in Dead by Daylight and a skin in Call of Duty.

 

For whatever reason I don’t count stuff outside of the movies when I think of a film series. I can see why someone could though.

 

A skin in games is not comparable to a video game dedicated solely to the Friday the 13th franchise.

 

The F13 game is an absolute blast. Need to fire that back up today too. The dedication and time they put into it is legit and I would love to see other adaptations get that kinda treatment.

 

The same team is making a TCM game. I was hoping it would be Halloween, but maybe they’ll do that franchise next.
