If Paramore drops a song this year emo is going to explode.

I hope this inspires the western music industry to push bands again. I think people love groups and K-pop has mostly filled that gap while the industry has shifted towards solo acts, but maybe MCR/Paramore can spark a movement.

also re: the production - this quote from 2013 has always stuck with me lol

I get more Science Fiction vibes than Devil and God, but yes, the Brand New influence is very strong on this.

 

I mean, it’s fuzzy and noisy. I can name many things that sound like that which aren’t Brand New.

It’s like every time someone says a song sounds like NIN and it’s nothing like it.

 

Okay I listened to it but didn't think of brand new but maybe I never listened to brand new enough to catch that. For some reason smashing pumpkins came to my brain first
