Yawn Deus Ex continues to be excellent.

 

Borderlands 2 is on sale for less than half of the sale for CoD 2 in the Steam Store. I don't understand.

Let me know if you end up picking up Dragon Quest VII, I'm thinking about getting it too. I have a lot of downtime on the road and at home right now and it seems like a relaxing way to pass some time.

 

The Dragon Quest franchise is slightly less noob-friendly than the old-school Final Fantasy games, in my personal opinion. To be fair, I don't know what kind of tweaks they made to the Dragon Quest VII remake, though; it could have been streamlined to have some of the rougher edges removed. If you're a JRPG fan, though, I'd say you're probably good to take the plunge. I didn't even realize it was out yet, I need to track down a copy before they're sold out and impossible to find anymore.

 

After a long hiatus, I'm back to Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep and Ni No Kuni. Probably gonna play the original Metal Gear Solid after that.

 

No No Kuni might be something I should replay soon.

 

I enjoy BioShock's gameplay but it is a shame that it's gameplay isn't as good as its ideas and writing. The first is still one of my favorite games of all time and that was much more true when it was released. The gameplay certainly seems a lot weaker now.

Also I wish Levine was better at telling story with the environment without resorting to posters/writing on the wall.

 

In addition to buying Recore and Bioshock, I also picked up Kingdom Hearts 2.5. Saw the trailer for 2.8 the other day and it really made me want to go back and replay some KH 2. Havent used my PS3 in a while so it took me time to find the damn controller cable.

I keep forgetting Ashly Burch is the voice behind Chloe, I didn't even recognize her until after I saw her in the credits to Episode 1, so that's cool. I really knew that it was her as she was screaming on the railroad track, though.
That scene walking through the rain was pretty cool. But anyway, Kate could've actually died?!?! I'm so glad I was able to talk her out of it. Makes me kind of sad that she's dead in 37% of the games out there.

I'm already so much more invested in this than I was with TTGoT, and maybe even TWDs2.

 

Damn, I still have to finish KH2.

 

Anyone who gets Recore, let me know how it is. Still interested in getting it.

 

I went to gamestop yesterday with the intention of getting it and walked out with The Witcher 3 instead haha. I think it will scratch the same itch for me, I mostly just wanted something long and with a decent story.

 

A lot of the reviews are saying it had potential but just missed the mark. With that being said, I know a couple that have started it and said it is good but not amazing. I personally am looking forward to playing it.

Haha not the JRPG itch but a general RPG itch for sure. I personally don't love the battle system in The Witcher games so I never got into The Witcher 3.

 

Ni No Kuni was heavily underrated at the time it came out. One of my favorite console JRPGs and definitely one of the best on PS3. The sequel is going to be so good, can't wait for it.

 

Sports games regularly feel like rehashes. However I think I've purchased every NBA2k since the original for the dreamcast. Fifa 17 feels more different this year than 15 to 16. It pisses me off that PES doesn't have the licences because that's the reason I buy Fifa over PES, for "my team". I haven't played a PES game since 2007 or so.

 

How much do you think I'll get from Gamestop for these games?
