So I guess this means this is the album art and not just the single art?

 

pretty sure ben did leave on not so great terms but dont think that little blurb is accurate and really at this point its been a couple years and its no one's business but theirs

 

Is there any more you can elaborate on how you knew it was not on great terms? The only thing i noticed at the time was Ben stopped following the Dangerous Summer social media etc.. it is water under the bridge but it is interesting why a member for so long leaves a band suddenly.

Legit thought that it was some random fan art that was somehow added like the old mp3 days. Yikes.

 

Lol why is this so protected? Even they never said it's some super secret thing. It was discussed publicly. And then ended up on a wiki someone posted some exaggeration. It's ok to discuss why bands break up or someone leaves. It's really not that serious

 

On a whim I typed " Ben Cato leaves the Dangerous Summer" and the first result from reddit, people are saying Ben told them in DM that they did bring in Aaron without him knowing. Who knows what the truth is. Maybe Ben didn't tell someone this, maybe he did. Just saying there are some rumors floating. I love the band and hope that it's not true

 

It just isn’t your business. I just seem to remember him hinting on twitter around the time it wasn’t his decision. That’s literally it. If you wanna dig into band gossip from years ago get on Reddit or some shit.

 

I recall around the time he left that it wasn't anything controversial and that it was mutual? He just decided he wanted to do something else musically?

Could be wrong though!

Prettt sure AJ spoke about this a bit on his Patreon a while back. I’m no longer subscribed and it’s been a while so I can’t quote it but it was something like Aaron reached out to AJ over IG saying they should work together on something shortly after Ben left.

Cover art looks like an NFT, but maybe I just I have hard time separating TDS from that stuff now.

 

Here's to hoping the Album is out in June.. AJ said Early Summer so fingers and toes crossed. If it dropped in 2 1/2 weeks that be killer

Lol whats that a reference too? Aren't TDS usually quick with having the Vinyl ready?

 

There is a massive vinyl manufacturing backlog that’s industry-wide, and small bands tend to get hit the hardest. So if they just finished the record recently, which it sounds like they did, it’s probably over a year before anything is ready.

 

Independent bands trying to press vinyl right now is a giant RIP

I’d be shocked if we get anything vinyl wise before next year from them.

 

Album should be announced tomorrow or friday

Interesting, the announcement is they signed a record deal with a Label again.. I didn't expect that one. It seemed they were doing better on their own by their reports. But maybe it was a a matter of the physical distribution
