Lol first time looking at their lineup. I get it now

 

I wouldn't say I'm on the ledge. The rational part of my brain tells me that this is a good team that most projection systems say have something like a 90% chance of making the playoffs and that this should be a really good, fun year. But the part of me who has been a Mets fan for two decades is saying "I've seen this play out before."

Moral of the story, it takes a while to unlearn past trauma!

 

Reynolds, Drury, Almora... It's all the rejects of past bad Mets teams! Drury had his moments tho

Found out the other day that when the Rays were shopping Willy Adames, they were in talks with the Reds and wanted Johnathan India and a reliever. Almost saved him.

 

I think drury had exactly (1) moment for the Mets
