Yeah, I'd delete it if I could. Usually when I listen to that record it's on vinyl, so it's tougher to avoid that song. I actually think I like this album more now after letting it sit for awhile though. I don't think the high points are quite as high, but I'd say I find the overall journey more emotionally satisfying.

 

I think it's harder to craft an album like Goodness that is consistently pretty great vs something like Home that is just constantly reaching for higher highs. Which isn't a fault and one method isn't better than the other, I just think it's more difficult to sequence songs in such a way that the listener feels "okay, there's not a wasted moment on here" whereas with the latter approach, well, following up songs with huge highs can sometimes make a good song seem just okay. Does this make sense idk I love Home and I love Goodness and I love INGO

 

As much as I love this album, and I love it a lot, Home is still just getting better and better for me and they're not even close in terms of my personal enjoyment.

 

Album is definitely above home for me, even with a couple of tracks that I skip. It has much higher highs, and there's no Life in Drag or Housebroken. Two Deliverances is still my favorite track of the year.

 

Life in Drag is amaaaazing.

Life In Drag is definitely one of Home's best songs. I'm undecided between the two albums at the moment personally

Wildflowers-Life In Drag is one of my favourite stretches on an album ever. I honestly don't understand how someone who loves Home could not like Life In Drag.

 

Life in drag doesn't really sound like anything else on the album, ha, so

I like Life in Drag a lot, and part of the reason (other than being excellent lyrically) is that it's in such stark contrast to all their other songs. I'm glad that wasn't the direction they opted for with Goodness

I emailed them after goodness came out just thanking them but they didn't respond. I didn't expect them too though ha

 

Recently came back to this, second time in two days.. almost feels like a fall record idk. Maybe it just transforms itself to fit any season

 

Back when Even If It Kills Me came out I emailed MCS and Justin responded and said he was glad I liked it.

Was an amazing day for me.
