I missed mid table nothingness. Glad to have it back this season.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

So, the Negredo foul goal goes down as a Stekelenburg own goal. He headed the ball out of the keeper's hands. How can that be an own goal???

Missed the first half of the Unuted match, damn 7am start times, I see Martial was brought off for Young. Was he injured or just looking poor?

Clash of heads, then was poor for their goal.

United, for fucks sake. We seriously need to ditch 4-2-3-1, and figure out who our best front 4 are. 3 defeats in a week, this is horrific.

LVG wouldn't have lost this game.

  11. It took like a whole hour of play for Dembele to get some sort of muscle injury. Welp.

  12. And now Kane's turned the absolute shit out of his ankle. Why he was still playing past the 80th minute in a game Poche said he'd rotate, who can say

  13. What a dreadful match in so many ways

Oh well. That's probably a game Spurs drop points late a couple years ago, no matter how bad Sunderland are (so so so so so bad). And we're in third despite seemingly starting the season half speed.

Off topic, the league table lines up perfectly with Goal Differential right now. Neat.

  14. Son looked so good though. 1-0 is about the score I expected from that lineup. It just screamed dominate possession and not be able to finish. No one looked particularly bad. But we needed another attack minded player in there.

  15. Son and Lamela looked very dangerous. The defense was stout as usual. Still bad overall and maybe disastrous with the injuries. Dembele's didn't look terrible but Kane's could be really bad. Dele was limping at points late as well.

  16. It's crazy to me how we can dominate with stats like this and still not look overly impressive. I think once Poch figures out how his rotations are going work with all the competitions we'll see more consistent play. And from what I read all the guys limping today (outside of Kane) were cramping.

That MOTD stat that Defoe only had four touches in the second half, two of which were kick offs is my favourite. They honestly might as well have played a fifth defender.

  18. Harry Kane out 2 months :uhoh:

My fantasy team is fucked now.

Even the league forgot we exist.

  21. The universe clearly doesn't want Tottenham to have two available strikers.

Game tonight was good. Perez with two goals, Ox with a great goal and another screamer from Xhaka. No injuries to key players. Easy passage. Can't ask for much more.

Third straight week Manchester United is kicking off before 8AM EST. Ugh.

Almost like America is thousands of miles from where the team is based.

Looking forward to Rooney scoring 5 tonight to become the all-time leading scorer and gradually being phased out to eventfully being sold in January to MLS
