Not a fan of doom/death/grind so my base rule is that if I can't read the band's name off their logo then it's probably something I wouldn't like anyway

 

I’m really confused about The Amity Affliction’s draw. They just played Anaheim in March at the Parish (a smaller venue inside the House Of Blues), which is ~250 cap. And now they’re back co-headlining the HOB which has almost 10x that capacity?…

 

that was a small tour on purpose

They also just played Chicago a month ago and Silverstein had a huge show about 5-6 months ago here as well. Holding Absence played here this past weekend, like 2 days ago.

 

Fuck I wish this was coming to me instead of Oklahoma/Iowa

How would this possibly affect their ability to tour? Your average 311 fan isn't very on-line and from a quick glance at a Reddit thread about it... Those that are seem to be in the "keep your politics out of my music" camp.

It's a pretty shitty take but I don't see this impacting anything.

 

Anyone know the set times for the Simple Plan/Sum 41 tour?

 

They switch every night (whoever is listed first on your venue page is the final act)...

Set It Off: 7-7:40
Headliner 1: 8-9:15
Headliner 2: 9:35-10:50

 

Seems to have caused some drama within the band which may impact the summer but who knows.

 

Hope they do a west coast leg that's a repeat of the triple headliner with The Aquabats, that would be a hell of a show!

i believe someone said a few month ago (pre Chadgate) that there wasn't going to be a summer tour this year, but that they will tour in the fall. so not sure it's related, however annoying it may be.
