Meg Rowley absolutely nailed it re Bauer on Effectively Wild last night. She said it was the first time in the history of being a baseball fan (I’d say sports fan in general) where she saw the punishment and her first thought was “yep sounds about right.” Couldn’t agree more. Both she and Lindbergh also think that even if his sentence gets reduced on appeal he’s done in MLB and likely pro baseball period. It’s a good day imo.
