The Bananas arch rivals are the Macon Bacon. Not sure if they do it annually but a couple of years ago they played a 9 game series called the Breakfast Bowl lol.

Yeah what in the hell is that all about? Not only did they run a great announcer out of town and blame him for the ratings being down but now they’re just being spiteful. The guy worked with Remy more than anyone else at that ceremony. Screw whoever made those decisions.

Edit: According to some Red Sox beat writers the team invited DO to the ceremony but he couldn’t make it because San Diego had a game that night. They talked about him doing a video but the Sox decided not to do any videos as part of the ceremony. So obviously not ‘as bad’ but I still feel like they should have had DO do a video and play it.

 

That's a little better in context but yeah, they can't make room for a tiny video? He's a great announcer, ever blaming him for ratings is insane when you hear plenty of bad announcers out there. You'd think Don murdered somebody's family how they've treated him.
