This is going to be miserable. Tuesday was already sold out and Wednesday was selling well too. It’s going to be packed like sardines at the crofoot.

 

From what I heard the second show wasn't selling well at all. It'll be tight, but I think it'll be alright.

 

Haha, no I’m definitely happy with my decision to see her again. If anything changes I’ll let you know!

 

Looks like For Chord Festival is announcing it's 2022 lineup Tuesday morning.

This isn't speculation related, but 5 Seconds Of Summer recently started their world tour, and a lot of the songs on their setlist are abridged arrangements. This allows them to play 26 songs a night, but they cut 8 of them halfway through.

So the question I pose would be-- would you all be okay with more bands abridging their songs if it allowed them to play more?

 

Depends on the band for me

 

Generally, no.

 

I think it depends how much they cut from the song, but generally not a big fan of it. I was not a huge fan of it when Twenty One Pilots did it on their last tour, mashing up 2 or 3 songs together, several times during the show.

 

Can you imagine if Bad Religion did this? They'd probably play 100 songs a night.

 

I'm pretty sure Relient K played slightly abridged versions of a few of the deeper cuts on their MMHMM tour. That was fine since they were committed to playing everything from the album, but in general I'd probably prefer something a little more creative, like a medley, than just abridged versions of songs.

 

Silverstein playing a This is How The Wind Shifts medley of like 30 seconds from every song was my favorite thing ever. But it's also my fav album from them. I saw Lil Wayne do it & it def wasn't as cool

 

Linkin Park did it a lot too, and I was a fan of it then.

 

Absolutely not.

 

Blink-182 did a medley of Dumpweed, M+Ms, Josie, and Man Overboard back in 2004 or something and it made me mad. I wanted to hear all of those songs!
