Boy, I'm at the Minneapolis show for this tour and it’s an absolute ripper.

IF anyone managed to snag an extra show poster (the lithograph buildings) I would happily pay you a premium to take it off your hands. Made my mistake going for it during the end of the SLS set and it was already gone.

Thanks for the heads up bc I want to grab those. I’ll just coat check them. I’m not going until the last show so who knows if they will still have them. I was thinking of not getting there until SLS set but want to grab those and Hoodie Weather hoodie. So guess I’ll need to arrive early.

I purchased the posters as soon as I got into the venue then had to hold them all night like a dork

I'm pretty sure this is the first tour I've ever been to where I love every single band on the bill. I've come close many times, but there's always one outlier or a couple bands I'm "meh" on.

    45 minutes after doors…here was a 5:30 start, +\- 5 minutes

    6:15: Save Face
    6:55: Origami Angel
    7:40: Spanish Love Songs
    8:40: The Wonder Years

Seriously though, just go for the whole thing. It’s been a LONG time since I saw a full bill as satisfying as that one.

  16. what a fucking show last night. they sounded as good as they ever have, and I finally got to hear me vs the highway live. Soupy also said they just finished recording their new album and it'll be out later this year.

Had an incredible time last night. We got in pretty early and managed to snag a spot right on the edge of the bar railing on the right hand side, which basically puts you in line with the guardrail, but raised a step up and away from the craziness. I loved it. Everyone around was still super into it, but I didn't have to worry about the plethora of crowd surfers all night.

Definitely one of my favorite bills ever. TWY sounded fantastic, among the best I've heard them. This was #11 for me, and it never really gets old.

I definitely preferred Suburbia to the Upsides, but hearing the latter in full was certainly a great time too. That album hasn't aged particularly well and it's undoubtedly my least favorite in their discography at this point, but it's still a really important and formative record for me.

  18. I feel like it's aged just fine tbh even if I take all their other records over it.

Lets fucking go. Looking like probably a September/October release then. Love me some TWY in the fall.

The intro on the phone call alone has hype. Hoping for a strong narrative.

The clip also gave me huge Gaslight Anthem vibes. I’m not opposed to that.

  24. I've seen albums announced for September, surely this isn't one of them. they're not a five-month rollout band

I'd think not too, but they did keep referring to "later this year" as when the album would be coming out I think?
Definitely assumed September-ish, but maybe things changed and they're releasing it sooner?
Either way, I'm so damn happy
